In the Mechanical Engineering degree program with a specialization in Design and Development, theory and practical phases alternate every three months. The theory phases take place at DHBW Heidenheim, while the practical phases are completed in various departments at FAIST. After six semesters, you graduate with a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering.
In the Industrial Engineering degree program with a specialization in International Marketing and Technical Sales, you combine technical knowledge with business thinking. During the practical phases, you will get to know different areas at FAIST and gain insights into technical, commercial, and sales-related processes. After six semesters, you graduate with a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering.
The Ulm Model combines a Mechanical Engineering degree at Ulm University of Applied Sciences with practical vocational training at FAIST. Over nine semesters, you earn two full qualifications: a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and an IHK qualification as a Construction Mechanic. This model is a particularly good fit if you want not only to understand technology, but also to apply it in practice.
Starting this year, FAIST is offering the Business Administration – Industry degree program in Heidenheim for the first time. This expands our range of apprenticeship and study opportunities with an exciting option for anyone who wants to combine business administration expertise with practical insights into an international industrial company.
